PMP PMBOK 7 Lecture 1 Exam Content Outline ECO (PM Framework)

The PMP (Project Management Professional) Exam Content Outline is a document that outlines the specific topics and areas that are covered on the PMP certification exam. The exam is administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is designed to test an individual's knowledge and understanding of project management best practices and principles.

The PMP Exam Content Outline is divided into five main domains:

  1. Initiating the Project: This domain covers the processes and activities involved in starting a new project, including identifying stakeholders and developing a project charter.

  2. Planning the Project: This domain covers the processes and activities involved in creating a detailed project plan, including developing project objectives, creating a work breakdown structure, and identifying risks.

  3. Executing the Project: This domain covers the processes and activities involved in carrying out the project plan, including leading a project team, managing project resources, and monitoring progress.

  4. Monitoring and Controlling the Project: This domain covers the processes and activities involved in monitoring and controlling project progress, including identifying and managing changes, monitoring performance, and controlling risks.

  5. Closing the Project: This domain covers the processes and activities involved in completing a project, including formally closing out the project, transferring ownership of the project deliverables, and reviewing the project's performance.

Each of the five domains is further divided into smaller topics and subtopics, providing a comprehensive overview of the PMP exam content. The PMP certification exam is a computer-based test, consist of 200 multiple choice questions that are to be finished in 4 hours.
