Hassan bro can u clear me that what is supernetting and what is subnetting? ICND 1 ,Lecture # 11 ,Lecture # 12 ,Lecture # 13 . i will recommend you . for more clearification . he already discussed as per my knowledge , Subneting is when we borrow Network from hosts , Superneting is when by hosts From network . thats it maybe i m wrong but as per my knowledge and videos i refer thats the main concept , Mr Kashif Correct me if i m wrong plz.

let me know the different between Subnetting and supernatting please? i will listen icnd2 lecture 9 but b4 that i would like to know in simple words the differece , Subnetting Supernetting? bcoz they ask manytime in interviews and as per my knowledge , subnetting is when we borrow network from hosts , and supernetting is when is borrow hosts from network portaion, i already said in my perivious reply that correct me if i m wrong but no body did , please correct me,your correction will gain my knowledge so please help .
ppp main aik address ki field hai jo broadcasting karti hai.yeh L3 k protocol ko b support karta hai.mera question yeh hai .. yeh to point to point link hai 2 devices directly attached hain then y we need of broadcasting????????????
If i understand correctly i think it is not , and as discussed PPPoE is slightly differnt then lease lines you might need broadcast / Multicast some where like routing protocol mainly RIP
sir mujhy samjh nhe ae. mery notes main b likha howa hai yeh point clear nhe. n viva main b yeh question pocha gya tha. viva main yeh hint mili thi ppp ki address field 8bits = 1byte ki hai n L3 ka address 32bits= 4 bytes ka hai.
bhaiya iske bad microsoft ka karoge kya??

this is Layer 2 and 8 bits all of them are 1111 1111 mentioning Broadcast .. so it is no way related to IP addresss whihc is layer threee
