Hello, I have one query regarding auto summarization in EIGRP protocol ie why do we need to disable auto summarization for all loopback IPs (10.10.0.0/21)on routers R1 & R2 (as per our network diagram) although we have disabled the same on router R3. Kindly reply.
Route summarization reduces the amount of routing information in the routing tables. the no auto-summary command. If you disable auto-summarization and have not entered a network command, you will not advertise network routes for networks with subnet routes unless they contain a summary route.

Delete
