    2. sir kya yh thek way ha host nikalnay ka, yh networkes nikalny ka procedure ni ha?
      host kay liya to hamain host wali side say shoro karna hota ha like
      mery bhai ny 1 analysis kya ha Class A 96 host.
      is man hamara subnet mask 255.255.255.192 ni hona chahiya? lowest bit is 64 so,
      10.0.0.0=>10.0.0.63
      10.0.0.64=>10.0.0.127 and so on......

      agar man ghalt hon to mjhy just yh bta dain kay ghalt ha i myself workout on it again. say just yes or no

  8. Assalam'kum Kashif bhai, this is Jawad, I just finished the subnetting Alhamdulliah, and now I am much confident about subnetting which was the hardest part for me but Alhamdulliah it is no more now. I've a simple question about it:

    If I need 30 SUBNETS and atleast 100 VALID HOST IPs in eash subnet, instead of going through all that calculation/bit reservation, can't I simply take class C IP 192.168.1.0 with 255.255.255.0 mask, and go like this:

    192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.255
    192.168.2.0 - 192.168.2.255
    192.168.3.0 - 192.168.3.255
    until
    192.168.30.0 - 192.168.30.255

    Will this not be appropriate to take such approach, plz let me know.
    And at last I am very thankful to you for providing such useful lectures which will lead to get our certification. Jazakallahukhair.. Jawad..

  15. eik confusion hai ,wo ya hi 2n-2 we are using for hosts what will be the formula for networks? 2n-2 ? or 2n ? i saw one website there he said for host and require networks we will use 2n-2 ?
    now confusion question is that there it was writen clearly that 2 network will not be usable same like hosts bcoz he said something all one and all zero are not acceptable.
    app nay network totay say phari hai ,mai with orginal method jana chahta ho.

    1. To calculate Networks we dont do -2 and for hosts we do -2. it was old Practice when we use to do -2 before ip Subnet Zero ...

      And Original mathod is by truth table whihc is not possible ... when you need to make combination for 8 bits truth table so the solution is this i taught ... and every one have its own way no way is wrong ... the thing that matters is effeciency

      I hope it explained
