Can you please talk little bit about the clock rate. And why do we need the clock rate command on DCE.
And one more thing. In a class for a project i was configuring a router, for the s0/0 I put 10.10.20.1 and my professor told me that it is okay for this time, but for next time put 10.20.10.1 for S0/0 if I wont put in the next project the whole network won't work. What could be an issue? Thanks
it is slightly confusing let me explain this clock rate command typically used in LAB environments, it is instructing the interface to be the generator of the links clock and at what rate to supply clocking at. further The speed at which a serial WAN link runs is determined by the 'clock rate'
